Today marks the launch of the 2020 edition of Locarno Shorts Weeks, a month-long online festival of short films that played at previous editions of the Locarno Film Festival. This year’s edition focuses on the films of Locarno 2018, with one new film being posted each day up to Feb. 23.
I’m very excited to announce that La Cartographe is in the lineup and will be streaming online on both the Locarno Festival site and their Youtube channel for one week starting on February 7! Mark your calendars!
A new feature of the Shorts Weeks this year is the option to vote for your favourite film to receive a cash prize of 1000 CHF, so if you happen to enjoy La Cartographe, please remember to vote for us! Make sure to keep checking back each day for new films and do your best not to miss any, as it’s a pretty fantastic lineup.
