In the aftermath of total and catastrophic collapse, Daniel, a young survivor (Donat Daoutov), and Abbot, an elderly priest (Russell Roberts), lead a band of orphans in search of food and shelter. Sick, exhausted, and out of supplies, they take refuge in an abandoned church - and face a horrifying choice.

After pulling his near-drowned older brother Adam from the waters of a chilly lake, 12-year old Micah waits by his brother’s bedside, praying for the comatose Adam to awake. Caught between grief-stricken parents, and a doctor’s grim report, Micah holds onto the hope that his brother will wake and remember those who love him most -- and that they will love him back, no matter the cost.
